It started as a simple phrase—our shorthand for slowing down, pouring a drink, and enjoying the people around us. For my husband Bruce and me, “corktails and snappitizers” wasn’t just wordplay; it was how we marked the moments that mattered.
For more than thirty years, our home was the gathering place. Drinks on the counter, something good to snack on, and a lot of laughter. That little phrase became part of our shared language—and when Bruce passed, it was even included in his obituary as a reflection of the joy we built together.
